It's never too late to shed a tear

for all the wrongs you want to right

before you die

or before you really start to live your life

I wake up to sunshine,

I wake up and the rain drops tapping on my window

I wake up to the falling snow, but it all feels the same

So I think about the new day and I get out of bed,

I think today will be a little bit better,

today will be a little better

Every day I breathe for that better life,

I know there's hope

so I cope and count my blessing for all that I do have

right now life might not be that fantasy look inside my mind's photo book

but one day it will be because I push much harder

my goals won't shatter but I know that it's frustrating and sad

it takes so long to gather all the pieces of one’s dream,

it's not like asking for a cone or cup of assorted good flavors of ice cream,

there’s only one right combination to unlock life so it can begin
